Happiness Comes From Within
What make me happy will not necessarily bring happiness to you. The things in life that bring us true happiness are subjective, and that’s OK. Everyone seeks happiness in their own way. What makes you happy is unique to you and your experience. What’s more, there is nothing wrong with your vision of success, joy and happiness being the polar opposite of what works for me. Is There a Natural Sate of Happiness?
Modern science supports the idea some people have a genetic predisposition to being happy—a sort of happy gene. Unfortunately, the key term here is ‘some people’ meaning that not all of us have the so called happy gene. But this doesn’t mean that you’re forced into a life of melancholy and misery just because you’re not inclined to be happy all the time. But the good news is that while there is evidence that your happiness is influenced by your genetics it is not the sole a determining factor by any means.
You can control your happiness much the way you can control your other traits and characteristics. You can change the way you think and feel. The trick is to know how your brain thinks and to initiate some changes in the things you do.
