Visualization is a system of using the mind to create our dreams. When used correctly and on a regular basis, it can help you to accomplish just about anything you desire. It is an all too common mistake to underestimate the awesome and limitless power of your mind. We tend to set artificial limitations on ourselves and fail to ever discover just the unlimited possibilities we have in life. The fact is, your mind is a very powerful tool. And, when it comes to achieving success, you have the ultimate hunt and target system at your disposal. But, you have to recognize and direct its power before you can truly attain the success you desire.

We are all alike in that we all of us want to achieve our desires in life. We all have personal goals we aspire to and dreams we wish to accomplish. But sometimes it seems there are just too many things we want in life, and that there is no way to achieve them. The answer to this dilemma is visualization.

Ironically, visualization is a system that we use every single day. The problem is that we just don’t consciously realize and acknowledge that we are using it. To get us more familiarized with the idea, we need to see this system as a daydream. For example, if it is a new house you want, we have to see yourself living in that new home.

To the masses who choose to ignore the vast possibilities of life, this may sound impossible. After all, there is just no way can we get nearly everything we want, right? WRONG! People can accomplish they’re desires when they use the power of visualization, and this can be done either consciously or subconsciously.

Whether you consciously know it or not, we all think about our dreams. If we look around you will realize that, sadly, most people just haven’t amounted to much. What you must do is to look to successful individuals—success leaves clues. If we were to ask them what the secret to their success is, they’d likely tell you that they never stopped seeing themselves as a success.

So, how does visualization work? Visualization uses laser concentration and focuses power on a dominant thought. Whenever you think of something, you create this form energy that in turn will attract similar energies to you. Everything in your life, every thought, and every dream, started by a single thought. The more you focus on that thought, the more you put to it, the more it will come true for you. By having that certain thought, and by holding that thought in your mind and heart, you actually begin to create that new reality.

But be aware that visualization works positively and negatively. This is why negative people always experience problems in their lives. This is where they visualize and focus their energy and they reap what they sow.

The thoughts on which your mind focus are the ones that will eventually become your reality—choose wisely.

Here are a few things you can to hone your visualization skills:

1)    Create pictures of our goals as if we had already achieved them

2)    Affirmations. Affirmations are verbal statements that evoke pictures and experiences as if you have already achieved your desires

3)    Rinse and repeat

I challenge you today to stop limiting yourself and look beyond the horizon of your mind. You need to accept the fact that there is so much that we have yet to understand in this word. Current science and medicine does not have all the answers. Focus on your desires of success and develop your ability to go beyond what your mind can currently envision.

Life always has a way of working out. The recent success of books like The Secret and The Law of Attraction can credit the people’s enthusiasm to its increase in sales. However, many also mistake the practice this law. They’ve misconstrued the general message of these books and have led themselves to believe that they simply have to sit back, relax, and think about what they want with their lives.

As far as I’m concerned, I believe that the law can only be put to good use with action on our part. I do believe that the universe works with us when we strive to achieve all our dreams. But, it can only nudge destiny towards our way. The rest is up to us, whether we choose to meet it halfway or not. After all, no one rewards the lazy.

If we made an inventory of all the successful individuals in this world, we’ll realize that each of them went through hell and high water just to be where they are today. Whoever said that the path to success was easy couldn’t have been further from the truth. In reality, to reach our goal, we’ll have to ready ourselves with the hurdles we’ll face along the way. It’s now simply a question of how badly we want the dream to become a reality.

As go through the hole-ridden path, we sometimes will stumble along the way. We court failure when we have the kind of self-defeating attitude that leads us to believe that the more we’ll fall, the harder it’ll be to get back up. This is a shortcut to sabotaging our dreams. It’s when we shift our focus to become pessimistic that we doom ourselves to failure.

Instead of thinking of what we don’t want to happen, we should think of what we want. Putting words like don’t or no in our statement is an indication of where our focus is, and that is in the negative. On the other hand, if we make claims about things that we yet have to achieve, this can also be seen as a lie.
Positive thinking is based on the belief we WILL get what we want and that we are in the process of fulfilling our dreams. We’ve all heard of the term self-fulfilling prophecy. It is in believing that good things will come to us because we’ve already started to fashion our lives according to our personal desires.

This article, in no way, claims that success can only be measured through our monetary achievement. Winning comes in all forms and in every aspect of our lives. Be it with our personal or career paths, we can only truly say that we’ve won if, at the end of the day, we go to sleep with a happy and content heart. We truly have to understand what the law of attraction is.

Simply put, it is accepting the fact that we can do what we want and that anything is possible if we work at it. Something good can happen to us today and the miracle is already set to unfold if we open the doors to opportunities that will make us happy.

Do you know how powerful your mind really is? Are you aware of the way your thoughts and emotions are the reason for all the things, both good and bad, that have come into your life? Think about the good and bad things in your life. We all have things we love about our lives and things we wish we could change. A lot of us think that the things that happen to us happen by chance and we are out of our control. That is not true! None of us are victims of circumstance. We all just need to learn the rules that will allow us to live full and happy lives so we can participate in the game of life.

You can’t deny that the law of gravity is real because you can see it in action. The Law of the Universe is also very real and even if you don’t believe in it, it still has an affect on your life. The law of gravity is only real on Earth, though, while the Law of the Universe is everywhere and has no limits.

The most important and strongest Universal Law is the Law of Attraction. What the Law of Attraction says is that we attract things that are similar to the things we have or want, or “like attracts like”. Whatever it is that is foremost in your thoughts is what comes into your life. The thing you need to understand about the Law of Attraction is that if you focus on the things you want in your life you will get them but if you focus on the things you do not want then that is what you will end up with.

You are probably wondering why, if this is true, you don’t have that fancy car or that mansion that you have always wanted? Why haven’t the things you want appeared in your life if it is that easy?

The Law of Attraction is very simple and easy to understand. The problem is we have so many thoughts in our minds that we don’t always focus them on the right things. You may think to yourself that you would love to have a new house in your favorite neighborhood. What a lot of people do then, though, is follow that with thoughts of how it won’t ever happen for us. When you throw the negative thoughts in there you change the energy you are sending out into the Universe from positive to negative.

Let’s give this a little more thought. When you doubt your ability to ever get your dream home what kind of emotions are you sending out into the Universe? Your thoughts are negative and are about how you can’t get the things you desire. These thoughts go out into the Universe and prevent your positive thoughts of what you want from coming true.

Think about money, something we all would like more of in our lives. We all have said to ourselves that we wish we had more money. When you have those thoughts, what kind of emotions are you having about money? Are you happy and excited or are you envious of those with money, angry that you don’t have more money and upset at your financial situation? Money is a very emotional issue for most of us and causes a lot anguish and upset. Even if your thoughts of having more money haven’t come true yet it is possible to make them a reality by using the Law of Attraction.

Product Review: Vision Board

This company OrangePeel Ltd has come up with a way of visualizing your goals and dreams by displaying your dream images, affirmations and power words on your computer screen and other digital devices like your iPod. I though it was an interesting idea and decided to get a copy. Now that I have been using “Vision Board” for a couple of weeks, I thought I should share some of my impressions with you about whether or not it lives up to the promises that OrangePeel Ltd makes about it on their web site.

Is it really that easy to use? Would it really be that flexible and fun to create a personalized Vision Board? And what it comes down to: would it really keep me in a positive mindset and inspired to reach my goals and dreams?

The first thing that impressed me was how easy it was to order the product and get the download. I think I was actually putting pictures into the system after less than 10 minutes of ordering and I straight away received a stack of bonus products as well with my download. So that was a great start. Another thing I thought was really excellent was the simplicity of the system. It is simple to follow, yet powerful.

I had a little play around, and got more and more excited as I discovered how easy it was to put my Vision Board together. I am always relieved when things actually work right the first time, and when the system is fool proof for people like me who are no computer geniuses. You can’t go wrong with the three simple steps they take you through. Even my 9 year old son could easily create his own Vision Board.

So then I really got stuck into it and found myself searching for inspiring images in my own gallery to include in the tool. I also checked out the online image library that is included in the software, they had some cool pictures for me to use. I also found a fantastic picture on the Internet of my dream car. Really exciting to see that moving around on my screen all the time, talking about inspiration!

I started to come up with powerful affirmations to add to the pictures. The features that really impressed me were the libraries that come with the software. If you don’t know how to formulate an affirmation or power word, or just need some inspiration just use the library packed with great affirmations and power words.

You even get to choose the font and color of the affirmations that come up and you can decide whether to use colors or an image as your Vision Board background. I chose a picture I made on one of my travels of a beautiful ocean outlook, which inspires me to travel more with my family.

Once I put my Vision Board together with my images, affirmations, power words, favorite music and my chosen background I thought “right, let’s see if this really works..”. So I clicked on “Preview” and pop there was my Vision Board showing on the screen! Wow, I felt as excited as a little child. I decided I wanted to change one of the affirmations, which was so easy to do. I like that a lot, as my dreams change from time to time so I can just adjust my Vision Board accordingly.

The software also includes a Poster Creation Module and their newest edition Vision Board even By focusing on your Vision Board at least twice a day, you are applying The Law of Attraction in a most powerful way. By constantly feeding your subconscious mind with positive affirmations and images of your dreams, feeling as if you have already achieved them, and taking inspired action you will attract your goals into your reality.

OrangePeel has recently released their latest edition Vision Board. Apart from all the powerful existing features, such as the audio module allowing you to incorporate mp3 music and voice recordings into your Vision Board, this “next generation Vision Board” includes some very excited extra modules. It includes a set of new presentation themes and a revolutionary MovieRecorder! I am equally amazed how inspired I actually am by this Vision Board. Sometimes I just bring it up on my screen to have a look and get focused again. I lean back and look at the dream images on my screen, listen to my favorite song and really feel what it would be like to have that car, or to go on those travels. This truly inspires me to take massive action and I know by feeling as if I have already achieved it, I will attract it to my reality. This is what I have learned about The Law of Attraction: the more positive energy you give to your goals, the faster you will manifest it. When I turn on my computer in the morning my Vision Board shows as the wall paper. When I come back into my office after lunch or a meeting, my Vision Board is right there showing as the screensaver, so it makes me get right back to business. Vision Board even features a little pop up balloon displaying your affirmations and power words, which increases the exposure to these affirmations and power words and helps adjusting your belief system.

Oh, I almost forgot another amazing feature. After a while I discovered the “export” function in the software. Wow, I realized I could actually send my own Vision Board to my family and business partners! What a cool way to inspire them as well. So I send one to my partner who called me after half an hour saying “wow, what a cool way of keeping focused, where did you get this? I want to create my own one”. Oh, did I mention that you can also print our your Vision Board? I have printed a couple of copies and hung them everywhere around the house. It drives my wife nuts, but hey I know it works! I even have been able to display my Vision Board on my PDA, thanks to this amazing “export to mobile devices feature”

I guess you know by now how impressed I am with this tool. I could go on and on about it…. But here’s the bottom line: this software does absolutely everything it claims to and is a MUST for anyone serious about attracting huge success and abundance and wanting to keep inspired. It is just so complete and it makes so much sense to own one. I give this product my absolute highest recommendation.
