Do not let anyone tell you that it is impossible to improve your memory! Everyone can begin a course of action that will lead to memory improvement. Given sufficient time to practice, you can turn the act of rote memorization into an enviable ability. You will be able to memorize large blocks of information with relative ease.
Does this seem impossible to you? Have you always felt that you had a poor memory? The first step you need to take is one of the most important. Read the rest of this entry »
Have you ever wondered about the untapped potential of your brain? On average, man only uses about 3% of the power potential of this miraculous, three-pound (approximate weight) organ. This percentage represents the messages that our conscious mind receives and understands. The other 98% of our brainpower is tucked away in our subconscious mind. Each one of us has the potential to tap into this hidden power, and use it to enrich our lives and our livelihood.
Writing Down your Thoughts can Improve your Thinking Process
So much goes on around us every single day. Therefore it is hard for our mind to remember all of it. The thought process is very complex and indeed fascinating at the same time. If you want to be able to remember details of your day write them down in a journal or a diary. Your thinking process will improve as you do this. Chances are that you will be able to remember various details as well that you didn’t recall with the memory just stored in your mind.
When you write down your thoughts you can also do so freely. Too many times we are analyzing what we are thinking as we do it. Try to get into the habit of writing down what your true feelings are without allowing yourself to analyze what you are doing. This freedom is going to help you uncover how you really feel about a certain topic. Read the rest of this entry »
The brain is a fascinating aspect of our bodies because so much of who we are is controlled there. It is common though to get caught up in a pattern of behavior when it comes to thinking. If you are doing it all on auto pilot then it is time to change the way you think! You will definitely get more out of life when you take such an approach. It will improve your relationships, your attitude, your work environment, and even how you feel about yourself.
It can be hard to really assess your thinking process when you are on auto pilot. Try to do so objectively though so you can see things in a new light. Think about something you do at home or work all the time. Read the rest of this entry »

A Purpose to Live For, A Self to Live With and a Faith to Live By
What motivates you? How do you stay focused?
We’re all motivated a little differently. Some of us are turned on by money-or rather what we think the money will do for us. Others are motivated by ego and the drive for glory.
Sometimes, we’re motivated by fear-of loss, of death, of loneliness and a host of other things. Still others are driven by the desire to help people. Read the rest of this entry »
Last night I listened to an interview with Derek Franklin, who has created a really cool piece of productivity software that manages your time for you.
Derek’s program allows you to manage multiple countdown timers all at once. But you’ve got to see it in action because it can do so much more than just that.
What I really like about this software is that it is totally customizable to fit your specific needs. It’s Awesome!
It’s completely intuitive and it will create a report at the end of the day, week, month (or whenever period you tell it) so you can then evaluate what exactly what you accomplished vs. what you intended to get done.
On this Easter Sunday I am reminded of the gift of redemption and restoration we have been given.
Whatever your beliefs, I think you will appreciate the Creator’s model of six days of labor – one day of rest.

“You are not limited to the life you now live. It has been accepted by you as the best you can do at this moment. Any time you’re ready to go beyond the limitations currently in your life, you’re capable of doing that by choosing different thoughts.”- Jim Rohn
